Description: Girls Rock Science winter day event at Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center. Sponsored by Tongass Alaska Girl Scout Council and Springboard a program of the Juneau Economic Development Council and hosted by the U.S. National Forest Service. Attendees ages 7-14 participated in activities such as geo-caching physics of sledding underwater robotics ocean currents and seeing cold using an infrared camera.
